Multi-use: BEAL accessory cords from 4 to 8 mm in diameter comply with the prerequisites of the International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation (UIAA) and the EN 564 standard.
Used as backups for climbing, mountaineering, caving or working at height. Recommends the double fisherman knot for making Prusiks and tying cord ends together. For prusik loops they recommend the use of our 7 mm accessory cord.
