Haken Drill Adapter Crank Handle Powered Tool

This Power Tool Adapter enables the use of a drill to drive Harken’s LokHead Winch (INLH500KIT.US) and Traction Winch 500 (INTW500). It fits all standard drill chucks and can be used with drill speeds up to 60rpm. For drill speeds up to 300rpm, the Harken Protect Connect (INHDTOOL) must be used with the Power Tool Adapter. This adapter and a drill may be used with the NFPA-certified LokHead Winch Fire/Rescue Kit for human suspension. Likewise, using this adapter, a drill, the Traction Winch 500 and an NFPA-certified descent control device such as the Clutch as a progress capture device will satisfy the requirements of NFPA. Please note that use of a drill and this adapter to move personnel is not compliant with EN13157 which governs only hand-powered machines.

• Cordless drill adapter and a short crank handle are included with each furler. Use the emergency handle or a cordless drill to turn the foil until the sail is reefed or furled.
